About Your Medical Herbalist

Julia Davidson is a Registered Medical Herbalist with over 20 years experience.

Her philosophy is to offer a holistic programme of natural healing for the whole person, and to help people help themselves. She offers confidentiality and abides by the strict code of ethics of the New Zealand Association of Medical Herbalists.

Julia offers herbal treatments for most medical problems, many of which work alongside conventional medicine.

Julia’s Herbal Health can help you manage your health issues through face-to-face consultations, online consultations, or with prescriptions for herbal products and supplements.

Julia provides individual consultations using herbal and complementary treatments.

Julia has a undertaken a number of qualifications equipping her to practice in this area including:

• a five-year degree from the School of Herbal Medicine in England;
• a two-year Diploma in Nutrition;
• numerous courses in ‘Family Group Work’ and counselling taken at the Bristol Cancer Help Centre.

Further training in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand included fertility management (with world renowned Francesca Naish), nutrition, cancer management and 'Journey Work'.

Julia continues to study nutrition and cancer research and keeps up with research in herbal medicine through reading and regular attendance at conferences and seminars.

Julia has also developed a range of herbal remedies and body care products which are available directly over the counter at the clinic, at selected stockists, and from our online shop.
